Cortland Repertory Theatre

The Cortland Community Foundation has been an annual sponsor of the children’s show since 2008. The performances include: "Wiley and the Hairy Man," "Aesop’s Fables," and "The Jungle Book."

In 2007, the Cortland Community Foundation awarded a $2,000 grant to CRT for the mid-summer performance of “Fiddler on the Roof.”

"For seven years, the Foundation has sponsored a special CRT matinee performance of our family musical, with productions including “The King and I,” “The Music Man,” “South Pacific” and last year’s “Annie Get Your Gun.” Working with the Cortland Youth Bureau, the tickets were distributed throughout worthy organizations whose participants would benefit from the performance.” Kerby Thompson, Producing Artistic Director.

In 2003, the Foundation also assisted in the cost of installing the elevator at CRT’s Little York Pavilion.
